I needed some ideas and inspiration for my dashboard and interior sheetmetal work so I went down to Costa Mesa Fairgrounds to check out this yearly event. The sand/desert industry is HUGE and this event did not disappoint. Every major player in the business was there along with some great displays and vehicles. I’ve always longed for a sand only desert rail but since owning one at this time is far from reality, I usually find myself trying to incorporate their technology and style into my rigs.
